Pothos is one of the easiest houseplants you can grow, and it comes in so many beautiful varieties!

Want a fuller, healthier pothos? Start with these 3 simple tips!

🌱 1. Pin those vines! Pin longer vines back into the soil to encourage a fuller, bushier plant.

💚 2. Feed your plant! Add plant food and fungus gnat drops to your watering routine to help keep your pothos healthy and those pesky gnats away.

✂️ 3. Propagate and replant! Take cuttings from your vines and root them to fill in your existing pot or grow a whole new plant!

Pothos are perfect for beginners, and with a little love, they can grow into gorgeous, trailing plants!

My bougainvillea needed a trellis, but finding one that fit inside my planter while being sturdy enough to support the plant was a challenge. I was so happy to find this customizable system! I could adjust the size for a perfect fit inside my planter. The galvanized wire provides the strength my bougainvillea needs as it grows. I love finding plant solutions that work perfectly for my space!

This has quickly become my favorite tabletop grow light because it works so well without looking like a typical grow light. This light gives my plants amazing full-spectrum light while blending right in with my decor and highlighting the plant underneath. I love that I can adjust the height and brightness for different plants, and the built-in timer is one less thing I have to think about.

Here are a few other houseplant trees you can prune:

• Money Tree
• Schefflera
• Ficus Audrey
• Weeping Fig
• Dracaena
• Yucca

Pruning is a great way to control height, encourage new branching, and help shape your plant as it grows.

And don’t toss those cuttings! I’m propagating mine so I can turn them into new plants.

I’ve never put my fiddle leaf fig in a self-watering pot because I prefer to let the soil dry out between waterings. Fiddle roots need oxygen, and when the soil stays soggy for too long, those air pockets fill with water, which can stress the roots and eventually lead to root rot. I prefer a pot with good drainage so I can water thoroughly, let the excess drain out, and give the roots a chance to breathe before watering again. 🪴

I don’t have a big garden in my backyard, but from inside my house, you’d never know it. Filling the space right outside the windows with flowers gives you that garden view without actually having a garden planted in the yard.

You can create the same effect with a few Veradek Outdoor planters or window boxes in the spots you see most from inside your home. I used planters outside my living room and window boxes in the next room, which were incredibly easy to put up.

It’s such a simple way to create a beautiful garden view right outside your windows.

This trellis grows right along with your garden.

Start with one, then stack more as your plants grow.

You can make it as short or as tall as you need, making it perfect for everything from young vines to mature climbing plants.

I’m using mine to create a beautiful wall of jasmine, one trellis at a time.

If your ZZ isn’t standing tall, it might just be feeling a little cramped. When the roots run out of room, new growth can slow down and the branches may start to droop. A quick refresh and a little extra space can make all the difference.

A lot of plants struggle after coming home, and this is usually why.
The growing medium they’re sold in is designed for transport and store displays, not for long-term growth.

That dense mix stays wet far too long, which can slowly weaken the roots and create issues over time.

I’m resetting this one the right way.
Clearing away the old material, giving it more space in a nursery pot, and planting it in a chunky, airy blend that supports healthy root development.
