My Story

Music requires excellent technique, passion, and vulnerability along with an understanding of both the intent of the composer and our own story. In order to produce a melody worth listening to, we must execute the notes well while connecting them to our emotion and our experiences.

I work with students in several capacities to help them break out of whatever limits their abilities or their product.

Private Instruction in my home for Piano or Voice: I maintain a private studio of almost 50 students. At this time, I am full for students in school and only have 2 openings for adults or homeschooled people. These students may participate in judged events.

Private Instruction in a school: Three days a week, I work with students at Bear Branch Junior High School. These students may also participate in judged events.
