It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I let you know of the death of Sedrick, who passed away last week. He was an incredible friend, colleague, instructor, and fellow martial artist. For the last 16 months, he fought as hard as he could against his cancer diagnosis. He joined our school in August 2024 and was the biggest blessing at the time. Sedrick loved his family and his friends, and quickly fell into place within our martial arts family like he had always been there. He is going to be missed more than words can express, but we know he is finally resting and no longer in pain. 🪽

This past Thursday we were so excited to celebrate a brand new group of Black Belts! We had a special promotion ceremony for our 9 new 1st Dans and 1 new 2nd Dan featuring practice performances from our black belt and colored belt forms teams competing at Nationals in 3 weeks!

Week 4 of Summer Camp!

We had a Hit Ball Tournament, Martial Arts Olympics featuring some very special countries, an impromptu in school activity of badminton & volleyball, a walking field trip to chick fil a, Gaga ball, AND Field day!

Talk about an action packed week! Not to mention our campers are hard at work preparing for nationals in less than a month!
