New York Institute for Special Education

Summer Retreat Day #1 is underway! Thank you St. Mary's School for the Deaf in Buffalo for hosting our 4201 School leaders, as we work through challenges, opportunities, and advocacy priorities for the 2027-2028 State Budget and legislative session.

New York's 4201 Schools:
Lexington School for the Deaf, St. Francis de Sales School for the Deaf, Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf, Cleary School for the Deaf, Lavelle School For The Blind, Rochester School for the Deaf, The Henry Viscardi School, St. Joseph's School for the Deaf, New York School for the Deaf, New York Institute for Special Education, and St. Mary's School for the Deaf.

Readiness continues their summer fun! Circus games and crafts! One of our classes upstairs hosted a variety of games that were designed to promote movement, coordination, imaginative play and communication.

Being able to provide skills that the students need, while having this much fun is something that is unique to Readiness and it never ceases to amaze us!

Our ECC Camp is continuing their fun as we head into the final month of Summer!

Last week they hand painted some ice cream during one of those rainy days!

Such an amazing show!! Thank you Inside Broadway for working so hard with our students this summer! So many parents and family members came to watch and enjoy this show that the students worked so hard on.
