Part time teaching – We are looking for Part time teachers for our riding academy and need ASAP! This is one or more days per week ideally for someone who has school or other job and wants to keep in the horse world. Need for Weekend days asap! We are sold out!
Did you ride as a junior? Moved to NYC? Want Horses back in your life? This is the part time position for you!
Weekdays is 11 am to 7 pm and Weekends is 9 am to 5 pm.
This is teaching first timers, WT WTC to students who jump. We limit the school horses to two-foot and under for jumping lessons. Some riding when required if possible. Please email [email protected] or text (917)626-8555 for an interview and tour of the barn.

Mother Nature and Jack Frost win again! Lessons and riding at The Riverdale Stables are canceled Friday, January 30th and Saturday, January 31st due to the expected cold forecast.

See you all in February!

49 Days Until Spring!

Due to the extreme cold temperatures and forecasted winter weather this weekend, The Riverdale Stables will be closed on both Saturday and Sunday this week for lessons.

We have made this decision for the safety and well-being of our horses. The combination of dangerously low temperatures and the potential for significant snowfall Sunday, we feel this is the best decision to ensure the health of both our horses and our community.

The Riverdale Stables (Bronx) and Twin Lakes Farm (Bronxville) are currently looking to add part-time teachers to its growing programs. We are looking for part time teachers to teach one weekend day in our academy program. Up-down lessons to jumping 2' Perfect weekend one day horsey job for someone wanting to keep horses in their lives but work in another field.
