AIMHIGH Members supported hundreds of children and families through various community service events this holiday season. One of the most fulfilling events was for our 3K and PreK boys and girls at the Williamsbridge NAACP Early Childhood Education Center!

🔥 Youth at the table changes the conversation
AIMHIGH members joined a gun violence prevention roundtable with Congress Member , and once again they proved why youth voices are essential in shaping real solutions.
Every week they show up in community spaces, often as the only or the majority of young people in the room, yet they never hesitate to raise their voices and offer practical pathways forward.
During the meeting, our CEO reminded the room that you cannot correct youth before you connect with them. Too many meetings spend time talking about young people instead of talking with them. Change the approach and you’ll see better outcomes.
Our young leaders are not the future, they are the now, and they are ready to be part of the solution. ✊🏽💡

🚨 BIG BRONX ENERGY 🚨
What happens when you take 40 young people from the Bronx and give them a front row seat at Invest Fest…? 💡
➡️ They leave with a new mindset.
➡️ They learn wealth isn’t just for “others,” it’s for us.
➡️ They start shifting from just surviving to truly thriving.
This wasn’t just a trip… it was transformation. 🌍✨
Shoutout to and Gary Axelbank for giving AIMHIGH’s story a platform 🙌. The Bronx is not waiting for opportunities — we’re creating them. 💯

Promise Made. Promise Kept. 💰 $1 MILLION DELIVERED!
Remember when AIMHIGH members mobilized our community to vote in the Participatory Budgeting campaign…? With a record-breaking 80% increase in voter participation, 3,863 of us voted, including youth as young as 11 years old! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks to those votes, New York City Council Member Kevin C. Riley delivered $1 Million for:
🏋️ A New Fitness Center at Truman High School
This is youth-powered government in action — and it wouldn’t have been possible without our youth leading the way.
Special thank you to our AIMHIGH youth leaders for mobilizing and engaging their community to get out the vote. Big shout out to Council Member Kevin Riley for always giving our community a choice and a voice!
