Motherhood completely changed my definition of what matters. 🤍
The things I used to chase don't feel nearly as important anymore.
I've learned that:
The dishes can wait.
Bedtime doesn't have to be rushed.
Toys on the floor usually mean a day well spent.
Extra cuddles are never wasted time.
My priorities didn't disappear—they just shifted.
And I think that's one of the most beautiful parts of becoming a mom.
✨ Which slide felt the most like you?

Come with us on Sawyer's first day of daycare. 🤍

I went into today expecting lots of tears... mostly from me.
Instead, I watched my little boy be so incredibly brave.
Getting updates throughout the day eased my mind, and by pickup I realized he had done so much better than I imagined.

It's never easy watching your child grow up, but seeing him smile at the end of the day reminded me that new chapters can be beautiful too.

I'm so proud of you, buddy. ❤️

Being real here... Life is expensive and we want another baby. Help a momma be able to stay at home with this boy and give him a sibling

For a long time, the easiest solution was for me to sleep in my son's bed with him.

It worked... until it didn't.

Lately I've been wondering if we're both ready to start making small changes, so I'm documenting the journey exactly as it happens—the good nights, the hard nights, and everything in between.

This isn't a "how-to" series. I don't know how many nights it will take, and I definitely don't have all the answers.

I'm just a mom trying her best, hoping this encourages another parent who might be in the same season.

If you've ever struggled with toddler sleep, I'd love to know: What's one thing that helped your family?

I used to think a "reset" meant getting everything done.
Lately, I've realized it's about slowing down enough to recharge.

These are the 5 things that help me feel more like myself before a new week begins:
🤍 Little to no social media
😴 Lots of naps
🌿 Outside time
🏡 Minimal house cleaning
❤️ Laughing and playing with my boys

The laundry will still be there. The emails can wait a little. But these moments help me show up as a better wife, mom, and version of myself.
What helps you reset for the week? ⬇️
