Some partnerships are built around projects. Others are built around trust.
For years, Stormwise has had the privilege of walking alongside HOMES, Inc. as they continue the hard, steady work of strengthening housing and opportunity in their community.
This week, we returned for another round of systems development, workflow refinement, and operational support â helping continue the work of increasing clarity, efficiency, and tracking across their programs so their team can stay focused on people instead of paperwork.
What makes partnerships like this meaningful isnât just the technology. Itâs the willingness of organizations like HOMES to continually grow, adapt, and invest in serving their communities well. đ

Celebrating big wins in Hunt, Texas đ¤
This weekend, Stormwise had the opportunity to celebrate alongside our friends at Hunt Preservation Society during the ribbon cutting for the new Hunt Community Centerâa meaningful milestone for a community that has walked through an incredibly difficult season together.
Since the devastating July 4th floods, HPS has stepped up in extraordinary waysâadvocating for flood survivors, connecting needs to resources, and helping families navigate the long road of recovery.
And the impact is remarkable.
A dedicated team of compassionate and motivated individuals is currently managing 341 survivor cases. Already:
* 84 cases have been fully closed
* 22 homes have reached construction completion
* 20 additional homes are currently under construction
Thatâs the equivalent of completing a home every 14 days!
This kind of work doesnât happen by accident. It takes persistence, trust, humility, long hours, and people willing to carry responsibility for their neighbors.
John, Chae, Lisa, and Bridgetâit has been a true honor to support you through this brutally hard season. Your leadership and care for your community have been deeply inspiring, and we have every confidence that you will finish strong.
đ Join us in celebrating Hunt Preservation Society and the incredible work happening in Hunt.

Strong leaders build strong communities.
Stormwise had the privilege of coming alongside the team at Lahaina Strong â a group already doing the hard, meaningful work of showing up for their community.
Our role was simple: equip, support, and strengthen.
Weâre grateful for the trust of Lahaina Strong and inspired by the way they continue to lead with courage, care, and commitment.
đ¤ This is what collective impact looks like.

Because of you, Maui is not walking through this alone.
When floods hit the Iao Valley, the need was greatâbut so was your response.
Because of your generosity, Stormwise was able to:
đDeliver critical materials directly into the hands of local organizations
đSupport flood-impacted families in the Iao Valley
đStrengthen the capacity of leaders already doing the hard work on the ground
This is what it looks like when a community chooses to show upânot just in words, but in action.
At Stormwise, we believe a relational community is a resilient communityâand this week, you empowered community in a powerful way.
From all of us, and from the communities in Mauiâthank you.

Heading to Maui đ¤
Disaster doesnât waitâand neither do the people who show up.
Stormwise is preparing to travel to Maui to support ongoing flood recovery efforts alongside local leaders and partners on the ground. As always, our focus is simple: help bring clarity in chaos, strengthen local capacity, and support communities as they navigate the long road of recovery.
Weâre incredibly grateful to our friends at Love Acadiana for stepping in with donated supplies to support this effort. This is what it looks like when relationships open doors and communities show up for one another across state lines.
Recovery is never a one-time momentâitâs a sustained effort. And it takes all of us.
If youâd like to be part of this work, we invite you to support the mission:

Big things are happening in Texas.
Stormwise had the honor of attending the ribbon cutting for 4B Disaster Response Networkâs new facility in Texas Cityâand itâs nothing short of remarkable.
Five years in the making, this space reflects both vision and ex*****on. Designed for real-world disaster response, the facility includes:
đA two-story, drive-in warehouse for rapid logistics
đA full commercial kitchen to support large-scale feeding
đA medical suite for onsite care
đA displaced family apartment
đMass lodging capability
đLaundry utilities to sustain long-term operations
This is what it looks like to build capacity before the next disaster hits.
Weâre inspired by the leadership of John Eckeberger and the entire 4B team. Their investment today creates a stronger, more prepared region for years to come.
At Stormwise, we believe a relational community is a resilient communityâand 4B is living that out in a powerful way.

It is an absolute honor to serve an organization like H.O.M.E.S. Inc. They serve the people of East Kentucky with compassion, excellence, and vision. Check them out to see more of the incredible work Stormwise gets to support!
After the 2022 flood the Stormwise team was instrumental in helping us analyze our intake methods, recomending improvements and creating software to manage our processes. Their help increased our capacity and ability to handle the exponential increase of workflow following the historic flood. We have been so impressed with their work we brought them back to HOMES last week to analyze our existing processes and then develop customized construction management software and rental management software that we know will greatly increase our efficiency. We canât say enough good about the Stormwise team, they are a top shelf consultant!! See the link to Stormwise in the comments below.
