What happens when Fairview’s history meets today’s technology? A new way to picture our next chapter! ❤️🖤

We used AI to sharpen a 1988 aerial photo, expand the neighborhood view, and center Fairview while preserving its black-and-white look. Historical maps, current aerial photos, and construction plans guided the process, including outlines of the existing building and planned addition. Thanks to one of our awesome parents, Josh Land for sharing some of these historic primary sources.

It’s humanities and innovation in action: exploring our past while imagining our next chapter. The expanded scenery is AI reconstructed, and the addition’s placement is approximate.

🍉 Watermelon Fun! 🍉

Our students had a sweet time studying watermelons, creating their own watermelon paintings, and then enjoying some real watermelon! 🎨🍉 Learning is always more fun when you can see it, create it, and taste it! 😋

In this photo, Ms. Bostic, our 3rd Grade ELA teacher, led students in Mix Pair Share, one of our Kagan structures, as a get-to-know-you icebreaker. Students move around, pair up, and take turns answering a question, giving everyone a chance to share and listen!

Fairview Elite is committed to helping students discover their strengths, build meaningful relationships, develop leadership skills, and make a positive impact in their school and community. Tonight was the first step in that journey! 🌟

Students are invited to decorate a pumpkin as a character from a favorite book. Use your creativity, imagination, and a little literary magic to create a pumpkin that makes everyone say, “I know that character!” 📖✨
