Tewksbury Redmen 10u Sweep the End-of-Year ALS Tournament
What a way to finish an incredible season! The Tewksbury Redmen swept the End-of-Year Tournament benefiting ALS, going a perfect 6-0 on the weekend beating a very tough Vermont Storm team to capture the championship! 🏆🥎
The girls played phenomenal softball from start to finish, battling hard, supporting one another, and showing exactly what this team is made of. This championship capped off an impressive season in which the Redmen brought home four tournament championships and one runner-up finish, finishing the year with an incredible 40-14-2 record.
This season also marked the girls’ final year of 10U softball. This fall, they will take the next step and move up to 12U—and we couldn’t be more excited to see what comes next.
The growth, determination, and perseverance these girls showed throughout the season were nothing short of impressive. Through tough moments, injuries, and challenges, they continued to show up, work hard, and, most importantly, be true teammates.
And the pitching duo? Absolutely phenomenal. The two pitchers combined for an amazing 610 strikeouts this season! 🔥🥎
The Redmen have put in countless hours of work, and it has truly paid off. Their dedication is a credit to the TGSL travel program, and the way they have grown both on and off the field is something to be incredibly proud of.
Four championships. One runner-up. A 40-14-2 season. 610 strikeouts. And countless memories that these girls will carry with them.
Congratulations, Redmen 10u! We are so proud of everything you accomplished this season and cannot wait to see what you have in store for us at 12U! ❤️🥎
