It’s easy to look at today’s prices or interest rates and think, “Maybe I should just wait.” But while you’re waiting for the perfect time, the market isn’t standing still.

Real estate has always been a long game. Buy what you can comfortably afford. Make a smart purchase. Build equity. Let appreciation and time do their work.

The goal isn’t necessarily to buy your dream home or dream property on day one. Sometimes the best move is simply getting your foot in the door with the property that makes sense for you right now, then allowing that investment to help create opportunities for what comes next.

You don’t have to time the market, you just need enough time in the market. That’s the trick, the secret, the key. It’s not magic, it’s just patience.

Spain 🇪🇸❤️

A trip full of family, adventure, and some pretty special memories. We explored old towns and ancient ruins, celebrated Clint’s birthday, watched Ford learn to swim, snorkeled, zip lined, ate plenty of good food, and packed a whole lot into our time there.

But one of my favorite parts was simply giving our boys the chance to experience somewhere completely different from home. To hear and try to speak another language, experience a different culture, eat different foods, walk streets with thousands of years of history, and see that the world is so much bigger than the little corner of it they know.

And getting to visit and spend time with family while we were there made it that much more special.

So grateful for the adventures, the family time, and especially the experiences that I hope stick with these boys long after the trip is over. 🇪🇸❤️

Our very first conversation centered around horses. I remember him joking that we’d be a great team- me starting colts for him to take to jackpots 😆 Who would’ve guessed that would turn into all of this?

Two awesome boys, a barn full of horses and 4H project animals, a never-ending list of projects, free range chickens that he can’t stand but puts up with because I love them so, plenty of laughs and tears, and a whole lot of memories.

I wouldn’t trade this life for anything.

One week. So many memories.

This was our first time staying at the California Mid State Fair for the entire week, and I honestly don’t know how we’ll top it. From early mornings in the barns to late nights making memories with new friends in the pool, it was one of those weeks we’ll never forget.

We watched Case pour his heart into showing his pig, soaked up the Back to the 80s theme with plenty of arcade games and roller skating, cooled off with pool time, enjoyed an incredible concert, celebrated Aunt Nicole Nicholson being named Cattlewoman of the Year, and Case even got an impromptu radio interview with 98.1 KJUG . Every day brought something new.

What stands out the most, though, is what this fair represents. It gives kids the opportunity to learn responsibility, work ethic, sportsmanship, and so much more through agriculture. We are incredibly fortunate to have a fair and a community of people and businesses that invests in the next generation.

On a work related note, I left the week feeling even more proud to be a part of RE/MAX Success . From bidding on countless animals during the auction, to sponsoring the buyers lunch, to volunteering hours of time putting on the free pancake breakfast, it is evident how much my brokerage pours into this community. It made me so proud to be a part of it in a small way!

Already counting down until next year. ❤️🐖🎡

UPDATE: A heartfelt THANK YOU to Hartzell General Engineering Contractors for purchasing Case’s beautiful pig! Case is so grateful to everyone who bid in support of his first market animal!

Case officially sells his gilt, “Sow Fancy,” Saturday, July 25th starting at 8:00am sharp in Ring 1 at the California Mid-State Fair. If you’re not pre-registered to bid, you can simply go to the livestock auction an hour before the sale begins and they’ll set you up!
“Sow Fancy” weighed in at 266 lbs on Monday. She’s been fed the high quality hog feed from Templeton Feed & Grain throughout the last 4.5 months and she is looking fabulous! She certainly lives up to her name because she is FANCY! Come check her out for yourself at the auction.
Thank you for supporting our local youth in agriculture, they are certainly a great group of future leaders.

Every home search has a story. What started as one idea gradually became something different as we explored the possibilities and narrowed down what truly felt like home. In the end, everything came together with this beautiful home in Paso Robles.

I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to be part of the journey. Congratulations to my wonderful buyers. Wishing you many years of great memories in your new home.
