Cubes In Space

Website

Cubes In Space Cubes in Space, a program by iEDU inc., is a global competition, offered at no cost, for students www.idoodlelearning.com.

A STEM-based education program for students (ages 11-18), Cubes in Space™ provides students a no-cost opportunity to design and compete to launch an experiment into space! Utilizing formal or informal learning environments, students and educators will be exposed to engaging content and activities in preparation for the design and development of an experimental payload to be integrated into a small cube (Cube). These Cubes will be launched into space via sounding rocket from NASA Wallops Flight Facility on Wallops Island, VA in late June 2016. Leveraging the excitement of space exploration, students and educators will learn about the methodology for taking an idea from design through the review process. Throughout the experience, students will acquire key 21st century skills necessary for success in a highly connected, global society. Cubes in Space is a program designed and offered by idoodlelearning, inc.

Next possible launch attempt for RB-11 on NASA's Salter Test Flight is Friday, August 21st, 2026. Surface and low-level winds are not conducive for safe launch for ground crew and payload on Wednesday and Thursday due to a trough (weather front) moving through the Ft. Sumner area. There will be another weather briefing we will attend virtually at 3:30 PM EDT tomorrow.
