We had a blast celebrating through intense rounds of Mafia, eating some good food, and enjoying time together outside of the lab. We are grateful for the work our RAs have done this semester, and are looking forward to a productive summer semester!😎☀️

Congratulations to Audria Vestal for winning the Best Undergraduate Thesis Award! 🏆✨

She presented on mother-infant interactions with everyday objects in the home. She is joined by Dr. Benitez as her thesis director and invited Dr. Brianna McMillian from Smith College to serve as her external examiner.

We are so incredibly proud of all of her hard work and have been so lucky to have her as part of our LDL team. 🫶🏼

Over the weekend, our team represented the Learning & Development Lab at the 2026 Cognitive Development Society Conference (CDS) in Montreal, Canada.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share our research and engage with scholars across the field. 🇨🇦✈️
