Total transparency, we didn't purchase too many so if we run out before you pick your pair up, please let us know, we'll keep a tally, and place another order ASAP! And, we only placed the order yesterday, so please plan for a little extra time before your socks arrive in your mailboxes.

And as always, your purchases (and any other donations😁) keep Marsh Education going, gets us out to STEM/STEAM events, and puts us into schools with our Sharing Tails program for a reduced fee or, in the best case scenario, free to schools!

Quitobaquito pupfish

The Trump administration just bulldozed a 1000-year-old Indigenous archaeological site to build a second border wall. The One Big Beautiful Bill contained 46.5 billion taxpayer dollars for border infrastructure, including funding for a new secondary border wall just 100 feet north of the first wall in many areas. Last week, while clearing ground to build the secondary border wall on public land, contractors destroyed a ground etching sacred to the O’odham people. This fish-shaped ancient ceremonial walking path persisted for over 1,000 years before its careless destruction last week on Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge. If construction is not stopped, a secondary border wall will also destroy A’al Vaipia (also known as Quitobaquito springs). A’al Vaipia is one of the only places in the region with year-round surface water and is home to the endangered Sonoyta mud turtle and endangered Quitobaquito pupfish. These animals are found in no other place in the United States. There is still time to save A’al Vaipia. We must protect the borderlands. From Cabeza Prieta to Organ Pipe Cactus to Coronado to Big Bend. Future generations deserve to experience and appreciate the stories, history, culture, and landscapes of these places. Please call your representatives today and demand NO SECOND WALL.

One of our awesome staff at Marsh & Associates, LLC made another one of our awesome staff a homemade birthday present of shortbread cookies in some of our native Arizona fishes' shapes and we couldn't love them more - our staff and the cookies!!!
