The summer humidity is over, but still had to break out the oil to repel the rust until I can properly address it with steel wool.

Met up with Filip Bartoš, shihan of Meifu Shinkage Ryu, from the Czech Republic this evening. We have been friends on Facebook for many years, but this is our first time meeting. We had a lot of good food and drinks. We may have had beer, umeshu, hopshu, and more, but he kept up with me.

I am a bit late posting this, but I'm happy to announce that Jason Houle has been named Co-Leader of the Arizona branch. Please wish him luck as he works to grow MSR in the US!

I was a bit late to training in Osaka today, but I still had enough time to enjoy the experience with my MSR friends. And we all took turns throwing the old nails I purchased yesterday, so that was fun too.
