Our school will be closed on Monday, May 25 in honor of Memorial Day.

We are looking forward to celebrating the Senior Class of 2026 at Mariposa next Thursday, May 28. Please help spread the work and invite Mariposa Alumni

Seniors, wear your cap and gown, check into the office at 11:45 to lead us through the halls of Mariposa and join the rest of the school in a Clap Out for our 5th graders. All parents will meet on the front lawn for photos.

Our Mariposa Kickball teams took to the field over the weekend and played in the District Kickball Tournament at Pueblo Middle School. Thank you to Ms. Woods for coaching the K-2 team and Mr. Ballatore and Mr. Miller for coaching the 3-5 teams. It was a great season!

Our Mariposa Fifth Grade Concert was held last week to celebrate our Fifth Graders. Thank you to Mr. Rogers and Mrs. Marshall for helping to prepare our 5th graders for the performance to wrap up their time here at Mariposa. Congratulations Fifth Graders!

The Kyrene Gifted Showcase was held this week at Centennial Middle School. Our Mariposa students attended and presented their projects to Kyrene families and community members.

We are sending out a big THANK YOU to our Kyrene de la Mariposa families and community for your 2025 Tax Credit donations! We set a goal of $25,000 and this year's donations totaled $24,911. WOW!!! Tax credit donations support many great things within our school! Your donations help to stock our Mariposa School Store, Chip's Creation Station, provide fun school-wide assemblies, cover transportation for field trips, and help support school clubs and activities such as, LEGO League, National Elementary Honor Society and our Annual World Fair, among so much more. Please know how much we appreciate your support of Kyrene de la Mariposa students. Thank you!

Our students are ready to show you all the fun ways they are learning here at Mariposa... Indi Cars, Animal Habitats and Bee Bots, Wax Museum, Game Design and Makey Makeys, and Adobe Express and Sphero Bots. We can't wait to share all that is happening here at Mariposa!

Our Spring Book Fair will be in the library and our Mariposa PTO will be selling concessions during the event. Will see you there?

Our NEHS is hosting a Back to School Supply Drive from April 20 - May 20. To assist students of all ages they are gathering a variety of supplies, such as notebooks, pencil, markers, crayons and more. Starting April 20, please bring the supplies your homeroom teacher to be counted towards the grade level contest between grades K-2 and grades 3-5. We appreciate your help and participation in our supply drive.
