Tomorrow is the big day for Marcelo, who is one of 28 students from across the state competing in the Arizona State Spelling Bee! Go Marcelo!! We’re SO proud of you!!

The countdown is on for the Arizona State Spelling Bee! 🐝 In just a few days, 28 incredible students will take the stage, and two will earn the opportunity to represent Arizona at the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Today, we’re introducing four of the talented spellers competing for that spot:

📚Marcelo Garcia Rojas, 5th Grade – Center for Educational Excellence, Independent Charter School District (Maricopa Region 1)
📚 Ronito Romel, 7th Grade – Hillcrest Middle School, Deer Valley Unified School District (Maricopa Region 2)
📚 Samarth Bokkasa, 6th Grade – North Ranch Elementary School - PVSchools, Paradise Valley Unified School District PVSchools (Maricopa Region 2)
📚 Carissa Kai-Yen Cheong, 8th Grade – Alhambra Traditional School, Alhambra Elementary School District (Maricopa Region 3)

CEE Moms Night Out: Pottery, Charcuterie & Connection

$40 per person

Leave the kids at home and join fellow CEE moms for a relaxed, creative night out. We will paint pottery, snack on charcuterie, and actually finish a conversation. Your ticket includes a pottery piece of your choice, studio sitting and firing, and a light dinner with a non alcoholic beverage. Thanks to PTO support, this is a subsidized community building event we hope feels equal parts fun and refreshing.
