I'm now in the process of casting my directing film. I have joined forces with some of my classmates and this Thursday (Oct 18th) from 5pm to 9pm, we'll be holding an open casting call in FAC 222. There are seven films in total that we are casting for, the synopses and character descriptions are below.

FILM SYNOPSES AND CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
(a scene from) All That Remains - Directed by Ashley Sinn
Synopsis: All that Remains is a dark comedy about a girl that refuses to let death stand in the way of love. Allison is a tough roller derby girl who is infatuated with her fianc?, Jake. When Jake dies suddenly, Allison decides she can?t live without him. She fakes her own death, and steals Jakes co**se in an attempt to continue their relationship. But Allison doesn?t realize that there?s someone else that misses Jake as much as she does.
Casting:
Allison: A tough, roller derby girl with an infatuation for Jake. (Female, mid to late 20's.)
Jake: Allison's fiance. A musician in a psychobilly band. (Male, mid to late 20's.)
Ryan: Jake's clean cut, twin brother. (Male, mid to late 20's.)

Synopsis: A young boy's heart is turned cold by the broken household he is raised in.
Casting:
David Martin: A stern man with a hot temper (25-50)
Sheryl Martin: A seemingly caring woman with a bit of a dark side (25-50)
Owen: An innocent, introverted, young boy (10-15)
Business Before Pleasure, directed by Shelby Cotton
Synopsis: A misunderstanding leads Jack to mistake his job interview for a blind date.
Casting:
Jack: An awkward, lovestruck young man (male, ages 18-25)
Lauren: An officious, no-nonsense businesswoman (female, ages 18-25)
The Finish Line Directed by Marcus Quaratella
Synopsis: A couple's final moments during a world crisis.
Casting:
Jake: Male Lead, in his 20's
Rachel: Female Lead, in her 20's
Richie: Other love interest for Rachel, in his 20's
'Til Death - (short comedy) - Directed by Gloria Tello
Synopsis: Arthur is excited to reunite with his dead wife in heaven after he dies, only to find that she has moved on.
Casting:
Arthur: A sweet, loving, and devoted husband (male, ages 50+)
Maggie: An awkward ex-wife (female, ages 50+)
Pamela: A sweet lady who shows interest in Arthur (female, ages 50+)
Zeke: A courteous punk (male, ages 18-25)
The Modern Rake's Progress: Have a Nice Day (Dark Comedy) - Christopher Gallego
Logline: A young man lives and learns amongst the trappings of masculinity in the modern world.
Stan Grabber: Young man in the modern world. Mid-late 20s, early 30s. Player vibe but genuine at heart.
Dr. Marcus: Gentile, seen it all. Male, Mid/late 40's +.
Dr. Fox: Fresh out of med school, femme fatale/ball buster. Mid-late 20s, early 30s. The kind of woman Stan could have if he got his s**t together.
Nurse: Not in the mood for Stan's jokes. Open
Secretary: Front desk at office. Open
Greg: Stan's party buddy #1
Cory: Stan's party buddy #2
Gabrielle: Stan's seductress.
