Today is 😊 International Day of Happiness and we want to share something important:

It’s okay not to feel happy all the time.

Happiness is not a constant state. Mental health includes the full range of human emotions including joy, grief, stress, hope, sadness, and everything in between. Giving yourself permission to feel what you’re actually feeling is part of building resilience.

If today feels heavy instead of happy, you are not alone and you are not doing it wrong.

For resources, support, and tools to help families build resilience through every season of life, visit centerforresilientfamilies.org.

Because real mental health isn’t about forcing happiness. It’s about creating space for healing, growth, and connection. 💙

💜 World Kindness Day: Small Acts, Big Impact 💗

Today, on World Kindness Day, we’re reminded that kindness isn’t just about grand gestures, it’s about the small, consistent acts that strengthen our connections and support mental health.

Kindness can mean checking in on a friend, offering grace to yourself on a hard day, or listening without judgment. These simple actions build resilience in individuals, families, and communities.

At the Center for Resilient Families, we believe kindness is a foundation of emotional well-being. Our programs and resources help caregivers, parents, and providers foster connection, empathy, and resilience especially during times of stress or loss.

Let’s keep kindness going today and every day. 💛
