This organization aims to help Arizona State University students with their education as well as future career. We are a subset of IEEE Phoenix section.
This student branch chapter is here to provide various different services to the ASU power group including introducing students to IEEE as well as providing a bridge between faculty and students. Some of the proposed aims of this chapter are as listed below:
1. Organize seminars and invite distinguished speakers (on a variety of topics from technical on power systems to improving your resume).

Hello everyone,
We have a seminar for this Friday, March 25, from 2pm-3:30pm. Daniel Haughton is a PhD graduate from ASU power program, working for APS. Join Daniel Haughton, the Director of Customer to Grid Solutions at Arizona Public Service (APS), as he gives us an overview of what is currently happening in the distribution system (decarbonization, energy infrastructure, DER integration, technologies, pilots, etc.) and how are utilities handling these unprecedented changes.
