Alright Sun Devils, one of our current master students needs our help! If you, or anyone you know, is currently working as a personal trainer please take a moment to read the attached email and fill out this brief survey!

Hello,

My name is John Preston. I'm a graduate student at Arizona State University. I'm asking for your help by participating in my research project for my Thesis. I'm seeking personal trainers to fill out an online survey. The survey will ask you questions about your educational preparation, personal characteristics, work experience as a personal trainer as well as some questions about basic principles of exercise science and personal training and client retention. The goal of the research is to develop new insights that may better prepare personal trainers for long and successful careers in the fitness industry. Your participation will play a role in moving our profession forward. Additionally if you complete the survey you may be eligible to receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card (while supplies last).

Please click the link below to access the survey. If the link does not work please copy and paste it into your browser. https://asuhealthpromotion.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_a2UH3w7dY4JIn77

It is estimated that completing the survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. You do not have to complete the survey in one sitting (as long as you log in from the same computer). However only completed surveys will be eligible for the Amazon Gift card. So please try to complete it all the first time. https://asuhealthpromotion.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_a2UH3w7dY4JIn77

I thank you in advance for your time and helping me to complete my work for my Thesis. Feel free to share this message and the link with other personal trainers.

“The scholarship I earned has been a substantial amount of help juggling all the bills and expenses required to live. On behalf of all students who receive scholarships, I would like to thank every person who has donated to help people reach their goals. I am so humbled by the amount of giving going on within the ASU community and encourage people to give what they can to help strengthen the community.” – Kelsi Carla Wildermuth, graduate student in Nutrition and Linda A. Vaughan Scholarship recipient. You can strengthen our ASU community by supporting students like Kelsi on Day March 17th!

“This scholarship has allowed me to concentrate more on my goal of reaching medical school, rather than always worry about tuition payments. Scholarship funds make receiving an education much more attainable for students such as myself. I am very thankful for those who have contributed to scholarships and would like them to know that they have assisted myself and many others through our education journey.” –Danielle Vallejos, Kinesiology major

“If it wasn’t for the scholarships I received through the College of Health Solutions, I would have had to have a more rigorous and time consuming job outside of student worker positions in order to pay for college. I am so grateful to those who donated to scholarship funds – I would not be where I am today without all of you! Your kindness and dedication to students in the College of Health Solutions enables each scholarship recipient to focus on what is most important to them, whether it be their academics, family, or professional future. I cannot thank you enough!” –Danyel Chleborad ’16. You can support CHS students like Danyel on March 17th - Day
