Oi gente! / Hello everyone!

We wanted to let you know that the Brazilian Club will be participating in a couple of events coming up soon:

>> CIS Welcoming Carnival on Aug. 11th (Friday) > Passport to ASU on Aug. 16th (Wednesday)

Come see us at the Musical Instrument Museum and enjoy the activities they have planned all weekend!

This weekend the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) will hold an event called Experience Brazil, where you can experience vibrant music and dance performances, samba music workshops, a Brazilian-inspired menu, hands-on crafts, and more!

The Brazilian Club is proud to be a partner in this event! We will be tabling at the MIM all weekend, stop by if you have a chance.

As Brazil is celebrating Carnival right now (this week), we are going to talk about Brazilian Music and show all different rhythms. There will be Guarana (Brazilian soda) and Queijadinha (Brazilian coconut candy). We will be meeting at MU second floor, room 226 @ 6:00 PM as usual.

BRAZILIAN CARNIVAL TOMORROW AT 3:00 PM AT SSV

Tomorrow, Friday, we are going to celebrate Carnival with our fellows from the ISSC (International Students and Scholars Center). It will be at the Student Services Building (SSV) from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. There will be Guarana, Brazilian cheese bread, candies, carnival masks, presentations and carnival music! Come join us!
