My American Experiwnce

I believe that "Learning" is a life-long journey. A friend of mine who flips homes asked if I could rescreen his windows. I told him I haven't done it before but I'd be up to the challenge.
I went above and beyond to grind down the rust, clean the grooves, repaint and and screen the frames cause that's how I f'n roll.
I got paid today to learn. Any time you get paid to learn u should jump on it. @ Tempe, Arizona

My first attempt at organic container gardening. Fruiting has started and I haven't killed them yet after 5 months of staggered planting.
Fingers crossed, I'll be making a bunch of salsas and hot sauces this year.
Pepper Plants:
Jalapenos; Habeneros, Shish*tos, Scorpion, Ghost, Jalabuke, Cayenne, Poblano, Anaheim.

Tomato Plants:
Roma, Husky Cherry, Early Girl, Abe Lincoln, Cherokee Purple

Misc Plants:
Sweet Corn, Black Beauty Squash, Pumpkin, Strawberries @ Tempe, Arizona

The future of JROTC at Tempe Union is female!! (JROTC Awards Ceremony). Two strong student women will fill the ranks of Cadet Battalion Commander and Cadet 1st Sgt for the 2019/2020 school year. (Pictured above the passing of the command; parents pinning their cadets.)
Last time I was in this room I was A Senior at MdN (2002). Being from JROTC myself, I was honored to be invited to pass out ribbons and honor the cadets.
Congrats to Alpha Company for this years win for company excellence. I was C Comp. We were a little roudy bunch. Never won that Company award in 4 yrs lol.

Teacher Appreciation Breakfast this morning at Rover El. Came by to drop off some items.
Lisandra is an amazing volunteer. She was here since 630 prepping pancakes, then she will help out in classrooms and tomorrow she is leading the organic garden clean-up! @ Rover Elementary School

Last Dec I got my mother a lemon tree for Christmas amobg other gifts. She had one that died and really wanted a new one. I planted a variety with my father, in January, that is thornless and provides the perfect lemons for lemonade. Since then, I've gotten the garden bug and have planted so many others in containers. Hope to harvest and make my own hot sauces for the year. @ Tempe, Arizona

Last board meeting, the March for Our Lives org came and spoke about the necessity for increased funding for mental health counselors in schools. I had a wonderful time talking to them. We shared experiences of guns as students. An unfortunate thing to bond over indeed.

Always make time for family and Menudo. This place has the best food. The pistachio agua fresca is insane. Best hidden treasure for Mexican food. I love showing new people this spot so hmu! @ Los Altos Ranch Market

Start time 430 am putting a giant heavy 4' x 3' metal box in an attic and connect it. I HATE working in attics. You gotta either be someone I love or pay me bookoo bucks to get me up there. Whelp...here I am. My skin is on fire.
