Hoping for a smooth transition back to a functioning Graduate Student Government after the Assembly voted by 2/3 majority to impeach President Ravi Teja Chopparapu. Apologies to all of those who have been negatively affected by the disruption in funding.

Unfortunately, the situation at GSG has only worsened and the Assembly has found themselves compelled to move forward with impeaching and removing the GSG President for his refusal to share the budget numbers and other troubling behavior.

The impeachment hearing will be tomorrow, September 3rd, at 6:00 - 8:00 pm. This meeting is public and anyone is welcome to attend. We encourage any students who have been affected by the actions of the President to attend and share their thoughts on the matter. links.asu.edu/GSGmeeting

An unfortunate announcement on behalf of your graduate student government: if GSG President Ravi Teja Chopparapu continues to withhold information from the GSG Assembly and refuses to collaborate with other student leaders, graduate student organizations are likely to experience a disruption in funding from GSG.
