Just wrapped up an incredible 3-day leadership and college readiness conference in Sacramento, where the next generation of leaders was empowered through mentorship, education, and brotherhood! Huge shoutout to the Western Province Kappa League for hosting this amazing event at Sac State University. A special thanks to our mentors—Brothers Sean Thomas, Carl Tyler, Brent Burton, and Lenard Mack—who guided our five Kappa Leaguers throughout this transformative experience!

Join us for our Fourth Annual Charity Golf Tournament! On October 17th, Twin Oaks Golf Club in San Marcos will host a charity golf event featuring competition, entertainment, gourmet dining, and attractive prizes. All proceeds will go towards funding programs that support local youth in the San Diego, Riverside, and Orange Tri-County regions.

It is with great pride that we share that distinguished member Brother Ed Jones was invited to attend 'Kappas on Congress,' an influential event bridging the gap between the fraternity and federal governance. This noteworthy occasion enabled our member to participate in meaningful conversations with Black congressional members, exploring pressing matters affecting our culture and the broader nation.

The CLT (CA) Alumni of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Inc. is delighted to announce the appointment of its new administration for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, marking a major milestone for our organization. This new team of leaders is dedicated to propelling the chapter into a period of significant growth and enhanced connectivity. Their wealth of experience and forward-thinking approach will undoubtedly foster a culture of excellence and further solidify our alumni network. As they embark on their roles, we are eager to see the impactful initiatives and community-driven projects they will develop. With this distinguished team leading the way, the future of our chapter is decidedly promising.

Memorial Day stands as a solemn connection between the comfort of our everyday lives and the profound expense of the freedom that makes those lives possible. It is a day to reflect beyond the parades and gatherings to the quiet, sacred grounds where the courageous lie in eternal rest. These men and women, who answered the call to duty, traded the promise of a long future for the safety and sovereignty of a nation they may not have fully known. Their ultimate sacrifice forms the foundation of our democracy, a debt that can never be fully repaid. As an annual tradition, the Men of Kappa Alpha Psi place flags at the headstones to acknowledge their sacrifice. As we observe this day of remembrance, we do not merely mourn the loss of individual lives; we celebrate the Heroes.
