Have you ever heard anyone say, "I took Spanish in middle school and the only word I remember is Hola."? Have you ever wondered why you couldn't speak fluent Spanish after taking the traditional middle/high school Spanish class?
The answer is simple. Most traditional classroom Spanish teachers are rushed to teach a speedy curriculum to 30-35 students with different learning styles. While the Spanish teacher is trying to complete a chapter of a text book, many children feel lost, bored, or simply uninterested.
At Amigo to Zapato, children will learn Spanish because the curriculum will be designed to fit YOUR child's needs. When children CHOOSE to learn, they WILL learn.
At Amigo to Zapato, students will learn in either a one-on-one or a small group setting.
Students (ages pre-k through high school) will learn Spanish vocabulary that they CHOOSE to learn through:
-Speaking -art -music -hands on learning -creativity
By giving them choices and connecting vocabulary to both their age group and life, the words and conversation will have more meaning than the traditional classroom method of memorization.
