Well oinkers, the good news is that Kabob and Pickles are back home to their new Taj Mahal. Like all good piggies, apparently, they just wanted to check out their new surroundings. OR, they got rounded up before they made it to Cabin City and were bribed back by some delicious watermelon from Shawn Sweetie. That sounds like something he would do, but we're still checking out the story.
Anyway, the bad news is we're going to have to have a talk with our farmer here in Tarkio and ask him where the heck our watermelons are! If he thinks moving us into the forest to eat nuts will suffice, well, he's only half right. OINK!

Yesterday was a big day for Kabob and Pickles as they headed off to their new home at our Shawn Sweeties place. They didn't really want to leave Tarkio but we told them how much fun they're going to have out on the West End and the Cielkes will take good care of them. Plus now we have that part of the County covered to keep the Mineral County Sheriffs busy out there too! OINK! 🐷

By all accounts the 2026 Mineral County Fair was a buzzing success! Congratulations to the organizers and exhibitors, and special thanks to the 4-H Auction supporters that help make a County Fair what it is. OINK! 🐷🐻
