North Edgecombe High School Senior Presents Advanced Study Project!

Today, Deshawna Harper, a North Edgecombe High School Senior in the Career and Technical Education Advanced Studies Program, presented her Advanced Studies Project at the ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital.

Her project highlights the valuable experiences she gained during her high school internship, where she shadowed professionals in Nutrition, Radiology, ICU, Physical Therapy, and Laboratory departments. This learning has prepared her for her next step toward becoming a radiology technologist at Pitt Community College this fall!

One of the highlights of her project was a 3D model of the hospital, demonstrating her creativity, dedication, and understanding of healthcare environments.

Thank you, Deshawna, for sharing your incredible work with us today! We have no doubt you will make a fantastic radiology technologist in the near future.
