Let the adventure continue! I'm going to be demoing at the Florida State Fairgrounds during the 2022 State Fair! Since I'm trying to make the set up look as period as possible that means I needed bellows!

Thanks to my husband and the SCA I just found this! Yes that is a scaled down maille shirt and it's butted! This item was most likely a show piece in a shop. It could also have been someone's first shirt and a teaching piece. I can't wait to hear follow up details about this.

800-year-old chain mail discovered in Co Longford An 800-year-old vest of chain mail, known as a hauberk, has been discovered in Co Longford and is currently being held by local tourist attraction, Granard Knights & Conquests, before it goes to the National Museum of Ireland.
