For ages 13-adults, my teaching approach is based in voice science Heritage Vocal Exercises based in the Bel Canto method. All styles and levels welcome: Broadway, Contemporary, Jazz, Opera. A singer's understanding of how their vocal mechanism behaves under any circumstance is what will keep your voice healthy and singing beautifully for years to come. I'll take you beyond the rudimentary lesson to a professional level through coaching in acting, movement, theory, and audition preparation. Don't be intimidated, though; no one is expected to jump on the stage and perform for thousands without ensuring the proper steps to reach and achieve that goal! We all have to start somewhere. Develop and improve your vocal technique; increase your range through specific exercises for your voice type. Release tension and relax your voice with warm-ups that include aspects of Alexander Technique and simple yoga postures. My approach to singing will allow you to comfortably release inhibitions and confidently express yourself musically. Whether you quickly pick up on exercises and theory or need more direction, attention, and explanation, I will adjust to your vocal needs and personality. We all hit a wall sometimes and need praise and encouragement which I will always provide for you. Remember, though, that improvement takes hard work, dedication, practice, and discipline, and you should always put in 100% effort for yourself in class and at home. When you begin to realize your potential and what path to follow, you will certainly see improvements and become more independent after every lesson. A professional singer, songwriter, and entertainer, Corinne Bach holds a Bachelor and Master of Music degree with a concentration in Voice Performance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a concentration in Speech-Language Sciences. Her expertise in vocal health and anatomy makes her highly-specialized as a master vocal technician and her 20+ years of professional performance experience in the entertainment industry makes her the most sought-after coach and voice teacher in the Tampa Bay Area. Bach has performed all over the world touring with revues, Broadway musicals, with Josh Groban, and with Sarah Brightman. She is a recording artist and often hired as a studio singer. She has been seen on the big and small screen in movies and as a model and co-host for a national television network.
