Everyone often asks me how I’ve learned so many languages and how I maintain them. This video shows me maintaining my French and Portuguese plus learning Japanese! If you notice, I don’t really “study” my languages. The best way to learn a language is to just immerse yourself in it. Your subconscious does most of the hard work for you.

I use a mix of YouTube, video games, movies, books, and conversation practice in my daily language studies. What’s your favorite way to practice a language?

Hello all! I’ve been on vacation in Brazil for the last month so I haven’t been posting. But I’m headed back to The States soon and wanted to share my thoughts on Home Before Dark by Riley Sager in my latest book review.

For all of my advanced English learners, this book is a great way to build up your vocabulary! Intermediate B2 learners might struggle a bit to understand the whole story, but this book could be a great tool for B2 learners who are stuck and can’t break into C1. This book will definitely test your vocabulary!

This was a slow burn horror story that fills you with dread and will keep you up at night. Plus, it’s full of plot twists you won’t see coming!

Calling all murder mystery and horror fans! I just finished a great graphic novel and the full review is live now on the website.

My recommended English level to read this book is B1 intermediate or higher. There are some advanced words used in this book, but the images can support your understanding. This is a great way to help boost vocabulary!

Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees by Patrick Horvath was fun, twisted, and slightly haunting story. If you love murder mysteries or horror, you will enjoy this book.
