Thank you for our Magic Stix markers! These are some of our favorites and we're using them for a cute All About Me activity!

I'm a marker snob, so when I say that Magic Stix are great markers, believe it!! They are great for use at home or the classroom. And if the cap gets left off, no worries because they won't dry out for 7 days!

SUMMER READING 🌞

There are so many fun summer reading programs out there! Here's a few I've found that my daughter is partaking in this summer. Also, don't forget to check your local library for fun summer reading programs!! We're both participating in one there too.

📘 Books-a-Million is having a Dav Pilkey themed summer reading program this year. There's a list of books to choose from. They have to read 4 and write a quick sentence about them to earn a Dog Man drawstring backpack.

📗 At Barnes & Noble, they can read and write about any 8 books. Then, turn in the paper to get a free book from their summer reading program display.

📕 Book It is still around! They are still partnered with Pizza Hut, and for the summer, families can sign up! They have a new app this year to make it even easier. You set the reading minutes goal for this one to earn their personal pan pizza for the months of June, July, and August.

Hip hip hooray, it's the 100th day!! 🎉🎉

I've always loved the 100th day of school! Today, I get to hang out with my kiddo and her 1st grade class while we do fun activities for the day.

We finished school last Thursday 🎉🎉

My daughter had an amazing Kindergarten year and I wanted to spoil her teachers! Her teacher got a wine themed basket with fun napkins and cups (the box that looks like a pencil is a wine glass!), chocolate and of course some wine 🍷
For her Kindergarten aide, I did a coffee themed basket with mini bottles of flavored syrups, reusable cups, a and of course a gift card ☕️

The baskets are so neat! They are collapsible and I found them at Target 🎯

P.S. I'm sorry to those of you not on summer break yet but you'll still be enjoying summer when we go back early August! 😅

Rosh Hashanah starts tonight which is the Jewish New Year. ✡️ One of the foods we eat on this holiday is apples dipped in honey. So we have apples galore in our home right now!!

Favorite art supply?? Markers!!✨️

I used to always let my students use markers when we did handwriting. It just makes it more fun!! At home, my daughter was practicing with my Ways to Show Numbers pages and grabbed her Magic Stix markers by ✨️ These markers are the best!!! They get used constantly in our home and the ink lasts for so long!

Working on number sense? My Ways to Show Numbers 1-10 resource got a little glow up recently! Full page and half sheet are both included now.

My daughter tried them out and loved them, so they are 5 year old approved!

There's just something about a calendar and some good pens that gets me in the mood to plan and organize!

🦖🦕 Children's Book Rec 🦖🦕

A Very Dinosaur Birthday by Adam Wallace is the cutest book for any and all dino loving kiddos! My daughter has been cracking up as we read this one, imagining dinosaurs at her birthday party!! I always love a book with rhymes too. And the illustrations and colors are so bright and inviting!

After reading this one, we had to grab How to Catch a Dinosaur from the library.
