Attention PVMSA families… 🎭🚌

As we head into the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL, we need your help with one final performance review:

“The Dramatic Goodbye at the Bus Ramp.” 😅

We know this is a close-knit group of kids. There will be hugs, tears, yearbook signings, promises to “text every day,” and probably at least one slow-motion movie goodbye scene. Some are heading off to high school, and these friendships are real and important. ❤️

BUT…

The buses cannot begin their summer vacation until the students actually GET ON THEM. 😂

It’s come to our attention that lingering at dismissal has caused buses to leave late, which creates delays for everyone after us at other schools - and affecting timelines on an already short day for last day of school festivities. We have to build in "settle down" time before hitting the bus ramp.

So please have a quick parent chat with your PV student. They have ALL WEEK to:

✔️ Sign the yearbook at breakfast

✔️ Exchange numbers at lunch

✔️ Promise to “keep in touch”

✔️ THEN… lovingly place your behind on the bus and roll into summer break. 🚌☀️

On-time dismissal a focus this year, and we know our amazing students can make it happen.

Middle school friendships may last 5 minutes… or a lifetime.

High school will bring new adventures, new friends, and hopefully even stronger bonds ahead.

But for one final day at PVMSA… let’s keep the drama on the stage and the buses on schedule. 😉

We’re a Title I arts magnet school, which means we hustle a little harder to make sure our students and staff get the experiences they deserve. PTSA funds help us pull off Teacher Appreciation, staff snacks + raffles (because coffee alone isn’t enough), field trip support, monthly student incentives (very popular) and all the extras that turn a regular school year into something memorable.

And we’re just getting started—membership is up 65.5% from last year, communication is stronger than ever (website, newsletter, Band, Facebook… we see you 👀), and our Dream Team is growing. Now we need the funds to match the momentum.
