Are you a manual therapist looking to avoid carpal tunnel, low back, and chronic neck pain? 💆✨
At the Integrative Somatic Healing Institute, we combine specialized hands-on work with active client participation to help you work smarter, not harder. By shifting your client into a parasympathetic nervous system state, their tissue opens up quicker, saving your body from the strain of hunching over for long periods.
How it works:
Engage the tissue : We make contact and engage the specific area.
Breathe & Focus: We ask the client to breathe into that space.
Sensate Focus: Using techniques from yoga and sensate focus, we help the client direct energy to the area to allow the tissue to expand and open.

If you work with patients who are trying to get pregnant 🤰, these are missed methods of improving their reproductive health.
The three biorhythms mentioned in the video are necessary to be healthy ⏰🌿.
If your client is not able to achieve regularity in their hunger, elimination, and sleep, the menstrual cycle will not regulate despite the manual therapy or medical interventions they undergo.
In our integrated pelvic care for fertility course 📚, we don’t just teach you hands-on manual therapy techniques to improve the internal balance around the reproductive organs. We also teach integrative methods based on the ancient science of Ayurveda 🌱 to help improve your clients’ overall health and reproductive well-being 💖.
Here are some hidden things that you and your patient may not be thinking about 👇
Hunger cues 🍽️ - the female body relies on a regular supply of good protein, fat, and other nutrients to synthesize hormones 🔄 in a cyclic manner. If your patient or client has very irregular eating habits, she will have difficulty maintaining regular hormonal rhythms during her cycle.
In my opinion, having a regular elimination rhythm 🚽 is by far the most important factor in judging overall gut health and reproductive health. If your patient is not emptying her bowels regularly, her reproductive organs are in close proximity to waste products ⚠️ that can be harmful to fertility.
Lastly, we think of nervous system states - rest, digest, and reproduce. Healthy reproduction does not happen without healthy rest and digestion. Helping your client decrease blue light before bed, create a mindfulness routine 🧘♀️ before sleep, and wake up at a regular time each day are all steps you can take to help them establish a healthy sleep routine so that they can successfully rest, digest and reproduce ✨.
Tension in the pelvis can hold stories the body hasn’t fully processed.
I’ve seen this time and again with clients navigating painful periods, PCOS, endometriosis, infertility, loss, or trauma, there’s often difficulty even bringing breath below the rib cage.
In Western terms, we call it guided relaxation or breathwork. In Ayurvedic and yogic systems, the disruption of energetic flow is a challenge in accessing the pelvic space, not just physically but consciously and emotionally.
The body keeps score. And with the right care, we can help it find release, safety, and connection again.
Ayurveda isn’t just wellness, it’s the longest continually practiced medical science in the world. And when we integrate its principles with modern medicine, outcomes improve.
During my first pregnancy, I was shocked by how little support I received from the conventional medical system. As a healthcare provider myself, I knew there had to be more. That experience led me deep into pelvic health and the integrative approach I now practice bringing together Ayurveda, occupational therapy, and research-based care to support the body through pregnancy and postpartum.
This is what’s possible when we bridge ancient wisdom with modern science.

This hands-on technique helps release tension in the obliques and improve mobility in the lower spine. Combined with breath and gentle pelvic tilts, it supports deeper stretch and more control through the hips and core.

Why Samphia Foundation?
Founded in 2019 by Dr. Shruti More, the Samphia Foundation works in remote mountain communities of Himachal Pradesh, India, to support children with disabilities. Their mission is to build an inclusive society where “ability is not defined by limitations, but by opportunities.” ✨
Here’s how they make a difference:
🧒 At their Aash Early Intervention Therapy Program (EITP), they provide intensive, strength-based support to young children with developmental disabilities.
🚐 Through their Therapy on Wheels initiative, Samphia brings physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to hard-to-reach mountain villages.
📚 They are building inclusive school environments, launching a Special Needs Resource Room in partnership with Cambridge International School in Kullu.
🏆 Their Therapy on Wheels program earned a prestigious Zero Project Award for innovation in disability services.
Our “Dollar for a Dollar” Season of Giving Drive runs from now through January 1, 2026. Every dollar you give will be matched by us — doubling the impact of your contribution. ❤️🔥
