"The most amazing thing about Jerusalem was visiting the Western Wall. For me, this visit was something very close to my heart. My mother, who converted to Judaism for my father, fell in love with the religion. She told me that it was her dream to one day visit Israel and see the Wall. Unfortunately, this dream was never a reality in her life time as she was taken from me almost 10 years ago. So for me to finally complete her journey, for her as a young woman, was something I can never fully describe. It was the first time since I was 14 I finally felt I was close to her again. I was able to put a note for her in the wall and I would love to share what it said: "Mom, we did it, we finally made it here." -C.E.
