Dear Seminole Heights Elementary,
I hope all is well! I wanted to share an upcoming opportunity with you and your families. United way Suncoast will be hosting an event at Tampa Housing Authority (110 East Kirby St.) on Wednesday, April 15 from 6:00-7:30 PM, where we will provide dinner and a literacy presentation for families.
During the event, we will share a short literacy presentation with simple ways parents and guardians can support reading at home. Through our partnership with University of Florida, students who are reading below level can receive 9 free books each school year through 5th grade, even if the reading level changes. We would love your help in sharing this opportunity with your families or anyone you think would benefit from this event. To help us plan for food, families will need to RSVP using the link below if they plan to attend. I've also attached a flyer that you're welcome to share.
Thank you so much for helping us spread the love of reading, we're looking forward to next Wednesday!
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
