Find your passion... Listen to your heart... Go after your passion..

says, Zaid Alfarhan, President, Technology Club@UT.

Meet the president of Technology Club@UT..

A Technology Entrepreneur working on changing the buying and selling process in Middle East...

Zaid O. Alfarhan is an entrepreneur from Kuwait who is currently finishing his last semester at University of Tampa in Management Information Systems. He had no interest in computers and technologies as he was growing up.

After graduating from high school, Zaid worked in real estate but he knew his heart was not in it. He then decided he wanted a more stable job so he decided to work for Information Center Company, a leading Kuwaiti technology services company. It required him to be a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer to work there. Zaid took the required courses and got himself certified.

He then started working and giving courses in Information Technology at Information Center Company and here is when he discovered his passion for technology. He wanted to learn and dive more into technology information and his certificate was not fulfilling his passion.

Zaid knew that his heart was in technology and all its endless possibilities, so he decided to major in Management Information Systems and this what got him to come to United States and study at UT.

In 2016,Zaid and his friend Fares Almuhana, a software engineer, decided to partner up and start an application development company that serves the Middle East. Currently they are working on their biggest project that will change the whole buy/selling process in the Middle East.

Digital versus Analog – More Technology is Not Always the Answer

An interesting article. What do you think? More technology -better life or more technology - more things to catch up with?

Can we go back to simpler times..?
