The School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies is very excited to announce an event called "Bulls in Action" this Thursday from 11am to 12:30pm in the Honors College Building on the ground floor (HON 1030)!

This event will feature two SIGS alumni, Shelly Marc (Political Science, 2013) and Hiram Rios (International Studies, 2015) discussing how they travelled from Fowler Avenue to the halls of power in Washington DC and beyond. Ms. Marc and Mr. Rios recently won the USF Outstanding Young Alumni Award and have been kind enough to share a bit of their time to converse with students about their careers.

Congratulations to one of our MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies students, Anabela Villach Vaquer, for the successful defense of her thesis, entitled “Argentine diaspora in the United States: experiences of Recent Emigrants and
their ties with the homeland”!

Congratulations to one of our MA in International Affairs students, Moriah Haley, for the successful defense of her thesis, entitled “’Vietnam Syndrome’ and the genetic consequences of Agent Orange poisoning: A materialist approach”!

Congratulations to one of our MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies students, Julissa Ramirez Perez, for the successful defense of her thesis, entitled "Navigating Change: The Migration Experiences of Post-2017 Cuban Migrants in Tampa Bay”!

In the latest , we meet alumni and civil servant, Lesley “Les” Miller, Jr., and learn about the unexpected ways that his time at USF prepared him for his career.
