Pride Month is a time to recognize the beauty of our diverse communities and the stories that connect us through love, authenticity, and self-expression. We celebrate the individuals whose courage, resilience, and advocacy have helped pave the way for greater inclusion and understanding.

We also acknowledge the challenges that many LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face and stand in solidarity with those advocating for equality, safety, and the freedom to live openly and authentically. Today and every day, we honor the strength, perseverance, and pride that continue to inspire positive change.

Today we hold space for Cuban Independence Day, honoring the resilience, culture, and history of Cuba and its people. On May 20, 1902, the Republic of Cuba officially gained independence from the U.S. military occupation, marking a significant moment in Cuban history.
We celebrate the beauty of our diverse Latin cultures and the stories that connect generations. From traditions passed down at home to memories shared with loved ones, today we recognize and honor our Cuban community.
As Cuba continues to face ongoing hardships and challenges, including economic struggles, limited resources, and the impact these realities have on families and communities, we also acknowledge the resilience, perseverance, and strength of the Cuban people both on the island and throughout the diaspora. We stand in solidarity with those continuing to uplift their culture, support their loved ones, and preserve hope through difficult times. ❤️
