🎤 Big Wheels Toastmasters Recap – July 24th 🔥

Today’s meeting was uplifting, thought-provoking and filled with energy! Our new VP of Public Relations, Jonathan, took the stage as our featured speaker and empowered us with these three words:

"I AM UNSTOPPABLE!"

His message revealed that becoming unstoppable isn’t found in secret techniques—but in the moment you declare ‘I AM’ and refuse to quit.

Viviana led us through Table Topics, guiding us with some sci-fi-themed questions that really had us pondering our existence! 🛸

No guests attended this week because those who were guests LAST WEEK have now become members!! We love to see it. That being said, it was our long-time member, Evelyn who took home the Best Table Topics Ribbon after sharing how her children's sports endeavors bring her so much joy!

Today’s meeting was packed with insight and inspiration! Steve took the stage as our featured speaker and left us with a powerful question:
"What price do you need to start paying to get the better things in life?"
His message reminded us that the best things often aren’t bought with money—but with pride, time, and understanding.

Jonathan led us through Table Topics, guiding us into deep self-reflection with meaningful questions in a supportive, judgment-free space. 💬✨

We also welcomed three returning guests, and Sergio wowed us all by stepping up and winning Table Topics for the first time! 👏 It's amazing to witness people stepping into their power and growing each week.

The Big Wheels Toastmasters Club had our official Induction Ceremomy today. Thanking the outgoing officers for their efforts the last year, and Inducting the new incoming officers in their roles for the next year. Please join us in congratulating the new officers of the Big Wheels Toastmasters Club, with Asad as our new President. Thank you to Kelly for all the leadership you provided over the last year, leading our club to President’s Distinguished, meeting a very rare 10-out-of-10 goals!!! 🎉

We had a ‘pivotal’ Toastmasters meeting today! The word of the day was ‘Pivotal’ and the quote was inspiring. We had a meeting full of Table Topics hosted by Dawn, with Brigitte winning her first ‘Best Table Topics’ ribbon! The most popular Table Topic today: “What is one technology that you cannot live without?” 🤔🤔🤔 If you missed today’s meeting, come next week!

Viviana gave her Icebreaker speech today and the Officers gave a presentation on their duties to encourage nominations for officer roles this coming year!

Had a great Toastmasters meeting today! Alyssa won Table Topics. Kaleemah and others took the challenging Table Topics and had courage to speak. Jonathan gave an excellent speech about his encounter praying for a homeless man and helping those in need. Come next Thursday! Don’t miss out!
