Yesterday marked our Charter Day- the day the Beta Eta chapter made history on our campus on April 10, 2010🌻. Since then, we’ve grown through sisterhood, culture, service, and empowerment.

Today we celebrate 37 Radiant years of sisterhood, service, and impact. We honor the 17 visionary founders of Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. whose courage, faith, and dedication planted the seeds of a sisterhood that continues to flourish☀️

Because of their vision, Omega Phi Beta became more than an organization, but a home. A space where sisters and siblings uplift one another, where friendship and support is lifelong, and where diverse voices come together to build a legacy of purpose💛

To every Radiant Sister and Sibling who continues to nurture this legacy, Thank You for your commitment and passion you bring to our organization. Together, we honor our roots, celebrate our present, and continue to grow toward an even brighter future✨

The Beta Eta chapter of Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated would like to extend our deepest condolences to our Chartering Sister, Caroline Saavedra (SPR10, #7), for the heartbreaking loss of her father, Hector, who was in a courageous battle with Stage IV cholangiocarcinoma.

Caroline is a true a model of sisterhood- kind, fiercely loyal, and always seeking to empower those around her. We are so grateful for everything she has done for our chapter, and now it is our turn to support her and her family during this immensely difficult time.

We humbly ask that our community contribute towards or share the GoFundMe link in our bio, as these funds will go towards lifting the burden off of her family to cover medical expenses and funeral arrangements.

This Remembrance Day we raise our heads to the sky to celebrate the light of our dearest sunflowers. 🌻

On September 16, 1810, Miguel Hidalgo launched the movement that ended more than 300 years of Spanish colonial rule.

Mexico’s Independence Day is often confused with the Mexican Revolution, but unlike the Revolution of 1910, Independence Day marks the start of the fight against Spanish rule—a movement that gave birth to the nation itself.💫

Celebrating 204 years of freedom and unity, Central America honors its Independence Day on September 15th, commemorating the historic moment in 1821 when five nations declared independence from Spain.

After gaining independence, the five nations formed the Federal Republic of Central America, which lasted until the late 1830s before dissolving into the individual countries we know today.

Today, we honor the rich history, resilience, and shared heritage of Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. ✨
