Is it just me or does everyone feel like we’ve been caught in the rat race recently? I definitely feel it, and while I could sit here and pretend to be a *very relaxed and zenned out* coach right now, I’m going to be real with you and share some tips that I use in times where extra relaxation is needed:
🔹Epsom salt baths
🔹Candle lights/low lighting
🔹Essential oils/aromatherapy
🔹Deep breathing
🔹Reading
🔹Taking care of plants
🔹Quality time with someone you love

Words are powerful. Surround yourself with people that use words to lift you up, speak to yourself with words that are encouraging, and fill your mind with words that are reassuring in times where you might feel your head start to wander.

Is anyone else’s love language words of affirmation? Or maybe you need some extra encouragement? I share my favorite quote, tips, and an easy recipe on my email newsletter! DM me your email and I’ll make sure you’re on the list ✨

Veggies, especially frozen, are your friend. In weeks where I know I’m going out of town or have a crazy schedule, I resort to making meals with the frozen veggies I keep on-hand at all times. Usually, I like to buy fresh so that I can enjoy seasonal flavors, but man do those frozen ones come in handy.
If you also have a crazy week and need some grocery staples that can create many easy dishes, here’s a list I always keep on hand as well:
🔹Red peppers
🔹Quinoa
🔹Eggs
🔹Frozen salmon
🔹Sweet potatoes
🔹Spinach
🔹Broccoli
🔹Frozen veggies

Maybe all you need is a change of perspective. When you change the things you look at, the things you look at start to change. You could focus on the dirt, or you could choose to admire the flowers. Next time you’re navigating a life change or are just feeling overwhelmed, I challenge you to stop and look at the flowers for a second.

Growing up in dance classes my whole life, it’s important to cultivate a learning environment that allows my students and clients grow and thrive. Inquire about group workshops via the link in bio!

Feeling grateful? Write it in your journal. Feeling overwhelmed? Write it in your journal. Don’t know what to do about a certain decision, feel like your thoughts are going at 100mph, or need to get word vomit out? You guessed it–write it in your journal.
I love finding time throughout my day, whether it’s first thing in the morning or at the end of a crazy day, to write in my journal.
Here’s one of my favorite prompts that you can use next time you sit down to write:
“What are 5 things you wish others knew about you that I could share? What are 5 things you wish others knew about you that I could share?”

How to stay present amidst a struggle: something I move thru consistently. If you’re doing a task and find yourself in a block, try the following instead of completely disconnecting from it:
🔹Change environments
🔹Step away from it for a little bit
🔹Do something that you enjoy doing
🔹Find someone to at ideas off of or brainstorm with
🔹Connect to others, don’t isolate
🔹Put on music or background sound

: set some time aside every week to batch cook foods like quinoa, rice, etc. that you can have on hand when putting together meals throughout the week.
One of my favorites is this veggie quinoa that I throw in salads or have on the side!
DM me for the recipe.

Adapting to my clients’ pace and lifestyle is one of the biggest things I focus on when I begin coaching them. Loved working with you, Michelle! 💙
