Yesterday I got baptized.
And I want to share why.
I’ve always been pretty open about my struggles.
Being a coach, I think it matters.
When you know I’ve been in hard places too, it’s easier for us to meet each other where we actually are.
The last few years have had a lot of ups and downs.
I have tried just about everything you can try to white-knuckle my way into feeling like I had purpose, direction, and clarity.
Therapy.
Self-development.
Different spiritual practices.
All kinds of things looking for some kind of peace.
None of it gave me what I was actually looking for.
At the end of last summer, I made a decision.
I gave my life to Jesus.
Religion was always something I kept pretty private.
I grew up Catholic and got baptized when I was a baby, but I never really understood what it meant to have a relationship with God.
For the past year I’ve focused on building one.
The same way I’ve built my relationship with my wife, with my son, and with the people closest to me.
It has been life-transforming.
And yesterday at our home church here in Tampa , I took the final step.
A public declaration.
Letting the world know who I am and what I stand on.
This is my testimony of change.
He’s got me, and I’m here because of that.
What has been wild through this whole process is how many people it has connected me to.
Some of the most successful entrepreneurs I know.
Business owners.
People from completely different walks of life.
So many of them have shared stories that sound a lot like mine.
It has made me believe in all of this even more.
In a world that feels as broken as it does right now, the one thing I have found I can actually rely on is God.
This is not me trying to preach.
I know religion is sensitive, and I respect wherever you are on it.
But if you feel a little lost right now, maybe this is worth a try.
With love,
Andres

Most people don’t struggle with protein because they don’t care.
They struggle because they’re trying to “eat healthy” without making it easy.
You tell yourself:
“I’ll meal prep this week.”
“I’ll cook more tomorrow.”
“I’ll figure it out when I’m hungry.”
But let’s be honest…
When life gets busy, complicated meals usually lose.
And when you don’t have easy options on hand, you end up grabbing whatever is convenient and hoping it somehow adds up.
That’s why so many people stay under-eating protein without even realizing it.
Not because they’re lazy.
Not because they’re unmotivated.
Because they don’t have a system.
The people who consistently hit their protein goals aren’t spending hours cooking every day.
They just keep the right foods around:
– Protein shakes that are ready when they need them
– Yogurt and cottage cheese that take zero thought
– Meat sticks, tuna packets, and powders that make high protein way easier
Because consistency gets a lot easier when your food doesn’t require a whole production.
You do not need more complicated meals.
You need better defaults.
That’s exactly why these are the products I keep reordering every month.
If you want my full Protein Bundle with my go-to breakfasts, snacks, and easy high-protein combos...

Do you know what the Space Diet is?
As Artemis II make its way back to earth from a historic journey, this post seemed fitting from a dietitian’s perspective on the food these guys ate while up there.
It looks like they have a pretty fun menu.
When I was completing my clinical rotations to become a dietitian in Houston, I was dying to do one of my rotations at the Johnson Space Center. It didn't happen. But what I learned was that the diet of an astronaut is so important that NASA has an entire team of dietitians figuring out what works best for space travel and individual dietary requirements.
The Artemis II crew has 189 menu items. BBQ brisket. Mac and cheese. Cookies. Nutella.
These astronauts are not skipping seed oils or eating only organic. They are eating real food they enjoy, inside a system that is tightly controlled for performance.
That is what a flexible diet actually looks like.
Your nutrition should work the same way. A system that fits your life, your preferences, and your goals. Not a list of rules that falls apart the first week.
If you need a (non-NASA trained) dietitian and coach to help you build that system, comment SYSTEMS to learn exactly how we do it.

Most people don’t fail because they’re lazy.
They fail because they’re relying on willpower to solve a systems problem.
You tell yourself:
“I’ll be more disciplined.”
“I’ll start fresh Monday.”
“I just need to lock in.”
But let’s be real…
If your success depends on you being perfect every day, you already lost.
Willpower runs out.
Life happens.
Stress hits.
Schedules break.
And when it does, you don’t fall back on a plan…
You fall back to zero.
That’s the cycle keeping you stuck.
The people who actually make progress aren’t more motivated than you.
They just removed the need to rely on motivation in the first place.
They built systems:
– Meals that are already decided
– Workouts that don’t require thinking
– Structure that holds up even on bad days
Because consistency doesn’t come from trying harder.
It comes from making it easier to show up.
If you’re tired of starting over every week…
DM me “SYSTEMS” and I’ll show you exactly how to build one that actually sticks.
