If you keep telling your team to market more, market better, close more sales, stop making excuses, or just DO more… you’re never going to get the results you actually want.

Because here’s what most agency owners are missing:

Actions are a byproduct.

They’re a byproduct of the decisions your team is making.

And those decisions are a byproduct of the perceptions and beliefs driving them.

I am so tired of hearing agency owners say:

“If my team would only market more…”

“If I could just get them to stop making excuses…”

“Maybe I need to redo my training program one more time…”

But none of those things solve the actual problem.

If the perception underneath the behavior stays the same, eventually the same behavior comes right back.

What WILL massively move the needle?

Understanding emotional intelligence and human behavior so you can help your team change the perceptions and beliefs driving their decisions.

Because when perceptions change → decisions change → actions change → results change.

Imagine you could change ONE perception across your entire team:

“I don’t have enough time.”

What would happen if they suddenly believed they DID?

They have time to market.

Time to follow up.

Time to hop on the team call.

Time to complete the training.

Time to actually IMPLEMENT.

Nothing about the number of hours in their day changed.

Their perception did.

And THAT changed what they did with those hours.

This is one of the biggest travesties I see in the travel industry.

Agency owners keep trying to change the action instead of addressing what’s creating it.

Eventually, they’re exhausted. Frustrated. Bitter. Resentful.

They decide they don’t want to hire anymore because “people just don’t do what they’re supposed to do.”

And without realizing it, their own leadership becomes the thing capping their agency’s growth.

You cannot effectively lead people if your only tool for changing behavior is telling them what to do differently.

You have to understand WHY they’re making those decisions in the first place.

Perceptions → Decisions → Actions → Results.

Want different results?

Lead from the beginning of the equation — not the end.

Here’s the thing about how and why I incorporate my faith into my coaching…

(1) When you rely solely on your own human effort—self-effort—it’s absolutely exhausting to scale.

Everything rests on your shoulders. You have to “make” everything happen.

You have to have alllll the answers, solve all the problems, and know exactly what to do next—right order, right time, right strategy.

Resting in God’s love, His wisdom, His protection, His faithfulness, and His strength makes it infinitely easier.

(2) Sooooo many people who don’t believe in God and Jesus simply have wrong beliefs about Him, His love, and who He actually is.

Why?

Because of ugly humans. Misunderstanding of Scripture. Legalistic religious teachings.

And religious trauma and abuse like I survived.

God’s not angry. He’s not here to punish or take away. He’s not here to make demands.

He’s here to love you, bless you, favor you, forgive you, and help you.

(3) My husband was trying to “manifest” a new job for 2 years after being laid off.

Countless writings to “the universe.”

The day he changed his prayer to God was the day the job he now has appeared on LinkedIn.

Some might call it a coincidence, but I don’t think so.

2024 was the hardest year I’ve ever had. The word God gave me that year was “Grace.”

It took me almost two years to finally understand that Grace meant—free, undeserved, and unmerited favor.

Meaning—I kept cutting it off because I was still trying to earn it.

And if I can help people learn the easiest, simplest, most stress-free way of building their business…

With peace, divine wisdom, and divine help…

While incorporating REAL science and grounding it in the practical pieces of scaling…

Well then—that’s what I’m gonna do. 😉

Boo… building a travel business can start to feel like carrying 1,000 invisible responsibilities at the exact same time.

Every client detail.

Every payment deadline.

Every quote.

Every revision.

Every emergency.

Every follow-up.

Every decision.

Every person who needs something from you.

And somewhere along the way…

it can start to feel like everything depends on you.

And that is exhausting.

Because yes, you are responsible for your business.

Yes, your decisions matter.

Yes, your leadership matters.

But boo…

you were never meant to build from constant pressure, fear, and striving.

It changes the way you show up when your brain wants to panic and solve everything immediately.

Strategy cannot send the follow-up.

It cannot hold the boundary.
It cannot charge the planning fee.
It cannot post the opinion you actually believe.
It cannot hire the help you know you need.
It cannot trust the idea God put on your heart.

A PERSON has to do those things.

And boo…
that is where this gets reallllllly interesting.

Because most business education is built around this idea:
“If you just had better information, you’d get better results.”

And sometimes? Sure.

But sometimes you ALREADY have the information.

You already know the follow-up needs to go out.
You already know the minimum needs to change.
You already know you cannot keep giving away one more revision, one more exception, one more unpaid hour.
You already know your marketing needs more YOU in it.
You already know you need support.
You already know the decision.

And still…
your brain is like:
“Cool. Let’s think about this for another three weeks.”

😂

That is NOT a strategy problem.

That is the layer underneath the strategy.

The part that influences:
→ how quickly you make the damn decision
→ how confidently you communicate your value
→ whether you hold the standard when someone pushes back
