Katie Kammerer

Katie Kammerer is a local to Tampa Bay and graduated from the University of Tampa with a BA in Music. She started playing piano around the age of 4 at the Children’s Music Academy in CO. After moving to Florida, she attended the John Hopkins Middle School arts program for classical piano and classical guitar. She continued her education in piano and guitar under the guide of wonderful teachers at the Pinellas County Center of the Arts at Gibbs High School.

She started teaching at the Rock ‘n’ Blues Academy as a student teacher under the training of Dave Shepard. After teaching at the academy for 4 and a half years she moved to tampa to attend the University and started as an instructor at Rockstar and Don Banks for 4 years. Driven since she was a wee lass to have her own studio, in January 2018 Katie started Kammerer Music where she teaches piano, guitar, voice, drums, ukulele and bass to everyone, from 4 years old to 99!
