The Snooze study explores how sleep impacts learning, attention, behavior, and well-being in children with and without ADHD. Sleep is important for development, yet many children and teens don't get enough rest. Our research will help us understand why sleep is so important and how we can help kids and teens do their best in school and everyday life. Stay tuned for updates, and if you’re interested in learning more or participating, please click the link in our bio!!

Curious about how the brain learns? At the Learning Brain Lab, we explore how the brain learns, focusing on how the brain functions differently in kids and teens with ADHD and learning difficulties! Our research aims to understand the mechanisms behind learning and attention while identifying ways to support academic success and mental well-being in children. Through our studies, we hope to contribute valuable insights that can improve educational strategies and interventions📚🎯

Welcome to our page!
💡We are a cognitive neuroscience lab at Florida State University conducting research focused on learning and attention.
📚Our lab uses brain-imaging tools like fMRI to study how the brain works and changes!
🧠fMRI: Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a type of non-invasive brain scan that takes pictures of the brain in action, helping us learn more about how it works!
🎯Our goal is to discover how to support children and adolescents, helping them excel in school and thrive mentally.
✅Follow us to stay updated on our research findings, lab insights, and how our work brings us closer to making a positive impact on children’s academic and mental health!
🔎Keep an eye out for our future studies and participation opportunities!
