It's T-minus 8 days until Florida State University's spring commencement ceremonies, and we're celebrating our graduates! ๐
Audrey Nash will become a two-time Florida State University Department of Mathematics alumna on Friday morning, walking across the stage to receive her doctorate in biomathematics. In 2020, she earned her bachelor's in applied and computational mathematics.
"Studying mathematics at such an advanced level gives us a toolbox full of interesting and unique ways to solve many different problems, and a scientist's job is to choose and use the right tool for a given problem. Itโs a fun puzzle!"
After graduation, Nash will be a postdoctoral researcher at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging in California.
For more on FSU's upcoming commencement ceremonies, visit: fla.st/HAF2Y45I.
