Leon County Schools is being recognized statewide for meaningful progress in expanding college access, and it’s a reflection of what strong community partnership can achieve.

Through the Aspire Capital Region initiative, local leaders, educators, and volunteers are working together to remove barriers and create clearer pathways for students to pursue their future. This year’s recognition as the Most Improved Large District in the Florida FAFSA Challenge highlights the impact of that work, from new College and Career Centers to dedicated coaching support and programs like BEACON.

We’re proud to serve as the backbone organization for ASPIRE and to partner with Leon County Schools and so many committed stakeholders who are helping more students take the next step after graduation.

Lively Technical College is opening its doors for its annual College and Career Showcase on Thursday, April 30. The event gives high school students and community members a chance to explore dozens of hands-on training programs ranging from healthcare to welding, plumbing and automotive technology.
