End of Semester: The first semester ends this week. Please remind your student to take any final opportunities to improve their grades. There is no school on Jan. 30 (teacher workday).

Beyond the Bell Registration: Club B registration is open Jan. 13–25 for Session 3 (Feb. 9–Apr. 3). Families must clear outstanding invoices in MySchoolBucks before registering. Support is available at [email protected].

Daily Preparedness: Please ensure your student brings their laptop, charger, and AVID binder every day.

Feb. 10 Special Election: Voters will consider Propositions 1 & 2, which replace expiring levies.

Prop 1 supports daily operations, staffing, arts, music, and athletics.
Prop 2 supports technology for students and staff.

Progress Reports: Available early next week in ParentVUE. Regular attendance matters—missing 2 days a month equals a month lost by year’s end.

Fundraiser: Brown Bear Car Wash tickets are $12. Purchase online or in the main office. Tickets delivered after Thanksgiving Break.

Thanksgiving Break: No school Nov. 26–28; district offices closed.
