At a recent postpartum visit, a client gifted me this sweet book and the kindest note of thanks for helping her achieve, in her words, her DREAM BIRTH! She had no idea it's been on my TBR list for months now and I'm so looking forward to reading it!

She did all the hard work and made intentional decisions to achieve her goals and i am so proud of her (and her partner!)

Gifts are never expected but thoughtful notes and kind gestures are very much appreciated.

The instructors had the opportunity to tour the birth center in Nashville this morning and my mind is blown! Such an incredible example for how it can be. This was the most incredible example of birth center and hospital integration I've ever seen. What an inspiration!

Today is International Day of the Midwife and I want to take a minute to celebrate one of my doula besties and partners - ! In addition to bring a birth & postpartum doula, a lactation educator, and placenta encapsulator, Sheilena is also currently about halfway through her midwifery training program! She's an incredible asset to our community and going to be an amazing midwife! I'm so proud to have this incredible human on my team!
